The World Record for the Largest Irish Traditional Music Session was set on Friday night the 24th August 2007 when 2,700 musicians performed together in O'Connor Square, Tullamore.

The 56th Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann took place in Tullamore, County Offaly in 2007. It lived up to the expectation of being the largest showcase of traditional Irish musicians, singers and dancers to take place ever, with over 10,000 performers taking part in this 'Feast of Irish Music'.
